1320. And since, as previously mentioned, it is this latter principle that has gradually become a universally dominant factor in the present terrestrial human world order, we then also see the most terrible destitution, hunger and misery in certain places, and a corresponding colossal accumulation of assets, riches and necessities of life in other places tied and bound as untouchable "private property". Access to these assets can thus take place only through one agreeing to pay the very highest possible price for the least possible quantity of these necessities of life, that is the "greatest possible value for the least possible value". In this way every individual member of the terrestrial commonality of today, forced by the laws that it itself with its "vote" has taken part in creating and authorising, must pay a greater or lesser excess price for every morsel of bread, indeed, for every mouthful of food and drink that the maintenance of life demands. But it is of course not merely the absolutely necessary, vital foods that are bound in this way behind the authorised laws governing the "false business principle"; it is also to the very greatest extent the vitally important items of clothing and housing. Here too people pay fantastic, excessive prices that likewise accumulate as the "private fortunes" of certain individuals. Indeed, this camouflaged or "false business principle" goes so far as to tie and bind the physical and mental force of certain individuals as basic "articles of commerce", which in this case thus means, as excellent objects for shameless exploitation, this being something that is also protected by the laws of the state that the individuals, each in ignorance of the real truth, have mutually perhaps enthusiastically supported by their "vote".
