1342. Mankind is no longer to be led "downwards into darkness" and therefore no longer needs leaders of darkness. The divine will now determines that mankind is to be led "upwards towards the light". This light is not a "regimentation" of all terrestrial human beings; it is not a coating of all beings with the same colour or paint; it does not imply rendering the being invisible or obliterating it as a red dot on a background of the same colour; it is on the contrary a complete development of "individuality" or the rendering visible of every single individual's particular incipient manifestation of genius, which differs from that of other beings, so that everyone can see every single being's particular, most supreme, brilliant or perfect revelation of human knowledge about how to build up the most supreme neighbourly love in the form of science, art and joy in living. The divine will of today is to turn all mankind's individuals into geniuses at manifesting their own individual colouring of love's sparkling aspects, so that the whole of terrestrial mankind can become a perfect mental city of stars with suns in each of the most sparkling, shining and warming colours of unselfishness. It is in order to advance this that the superterrestrial, cosmic or heavenly world impulse now sweeps the Earth. And it was the identity of this impulse with the divine will that caused the downfall of the old world impulse of darkness in the form of the "day of judgment" or the "war of everyone against everyone else". But now the beings are to evolve so as to use their genius to manifest the "love of everyone towards everyone else".
