What the Godhead has created over millions of years will not fail because of a small amount of unfinished terrestrial human mentality
1374. But is there anyone who believes that it will turn out like this? Who would dare to have such an idea as their philosophy of life? Who would dare to regard the Almighty Godhead with such distrust, He who has led the evolution of the Earth from its ray-formed state down through all its many physical phases: for millions of years as shining mists, for millions of years as a glowing, blazing liquid ocean of fire, for millions of years as a more temperate planet where its outer crust, its continents, seas and atmosphere were formed to the accompaniment of the noise and thunder of enormous volcanic forces, for millions of years the scene for the transference of the life and colours of a heavenly world to the terrestrial continents in the form of a supreme vegetable dominion through which the Godhead, for further millions of years, created the beginnings of a world for animal life. The first eyes began to see, the first ears began to hear in terrestrial terrains. And a new inhabited world floated through the universe. But the Almighty Creator went on working on His creation. For yet more millions of years He breathed His divine spirit into animal life. The living being on Earth began to follow His thoughts. It subdued matter. It forced the elements to work for it. Matter obeyed the command of its thought. It pressed buttons, it activated photocells, immediately setting machines and devices in motion. The living being floated over the clouds or under the surface of the oceans as it desired and at will. It spoke into a microphone and its voice could be heard by the whole world. It weighed the sun and measured the speed of light. It found its bearings in the world of stars, and it measured distances, time, space and units of substance in the macrocosmos as well as in the microcosmos. Indeed, the universe's own source of energy now begins to be directly subject to its will. In truth, is it not "God's image" that is beginning to emerge in the living being? Is it conceivable that the result of these millions-of-years-long epochs of evolution has come into existence only to perish in a flash of lightning? Is it conceivable that the eternal creator's millions-of-years-long creation is so ill-founded that it is overthrown or destroyed by a small amount of unfinished terrestrial human mentality? Is it not blasphemy or downright sacrilege to believe such a thing about a creation with a past that is nothing other than a revelation of millions of years of successes?
