At the innermost source or origin of "war" or lack of love
1395. Is it not a comfort, and does it not create a ray of hope, that the finished result must have another analysis, that what is seen of this creation, through absolute, practical, physical sensory perception, proves to be one-hundred-per-cent useful, while what proves to be quite useless or foolish, that is the whole, is merely an abstract, theoretical view, which in turn really means nothing but pure imagination? The living beings' purely practical or absolute view thus shows the universe to be completely useful and absolutely logical, while their abstract view and faculty of imagination show the universe to be absolutely absurd. Is it not easy to see that there is something wrong here; there are phenomena here in the terrestrial human being's perception that glaringly contradict one another. There is something in the being's mentality that shows it that the microscopic details of the universe are one-hundred-per-cent logical, that is to say that they are at the peak of perfection as regards appearance, while there is something else in the same being that shows that the universe in its entirety is one-hundred-per-cent illogical, which means, it culminates in absurdity or abnormality. But how can such a being constitute "peace", when its perception of life or the world, and thereby its mind, is split and is a struggle between two contrary experiences? Is it not conceivable that we have arrived at the innermost source or origin of "war" or "lack of love"?
