1396. A living being that sees the "truth" but believes in "untruth" is an extremely unfinished being. This is further established as fact inasmuch as its physical view, sensory perception or observation – when perfect – is a view of a local field within the whole, and this field is actually a part of the whole "seen in a microscope". The physical view of the living beings cannot possibly be anything other than the micro-details of the whole in "close-up". And to the sufficiently advanced researcher there is thus nothing wrong, nothing to criticise in the logic of the world plan itself. But gradually as things begin to grow beyond the limits of his own life, that is to say, beyond the phenomena in his own life and fate that extend beyond the time span of this terrestrial life and that are thus rooted in phenomena beyond the horizon of his present physical terrestrial life, things become increasingly mysterious, only to end up being the previously mentioned glaring opposite of the logic that there is in those things, where they are sufficiently small for him to be able to perceive them in a purely physical way. And with such a world picture the being cannot but become a "sinful Adam". How could a world picture that is the culmination of absurdity or abnormality, the glaring antithesis of the principal natural phenomena that have transformed the Earth through the ages from a state of fire into the inhabitable world that it constitutes today, turn the mentality of any living being whatsoever into "God's image after His likeness"? How can a being that has only the ability to see that the living beings' bodies and their surroundings become increasingly beautiful, and sees moreover that the universe is one single great "ladder of evolution" with many steps, be happy when it believes or thinks it sees that the steps will never be accessible for the passage of any living being, because it will "die" on the same step as that on which it was "born". No being can thus move from one step to the other. In this way the being sees that the finished result, the beautified, ennobled and glorious world, with all its advanced physical, technical and chemical benefits, as well as its spiritual or intellectual elevation, is intended solely for the present generations. The millions of beings, the thousands of generations that have lived before these benefits and advantages came into existence have thus not experienced these and will never experience them since they have long since dissolved into the great "void".
