Livets Bog, vol. 4
The more the terrestrial human being denies the existence of "life", the more it proves or confirms that "life" exists
1401. "Death" thus dominates the materialistically minded terrestrial human being's world of ideas. This being denies the existence of the mental or spiritual life that enables it to juggle with matter and experience the outstanding combination of matter that constitutes its neighbour's physical body and its own. It thus denies the existence of the mental life that enables it to manifest this denial. It thus does not understand that the more it denies the existence of "life", the more energy it releases in the form of thoughts, words and texts that are intended to prove that the living beings are merely "created things", that they are merely physical bodies, and that they are merely combinations of matter, the more it reveals that life exists and thereby unshakeably proves its existence. A lump of matter that can claim that life does not exist cannot possibly be a proof that it does not exist. If a lump of matter can reason and form a train of thought and express itself in words and action, these words and this action or this manifestation cannot possibly be a proof that its originator does not exist.
