1422. And fortunately terrestrial human beings are absolutely no exception, for, if that were the case, the greatest leaders, prophets and world redeemers of mankind down through the ages would have been life's very greatest impostors. For thousands of years terrestrial mankind has been led onwards and upwards repeatedly by these beings, up almost imperceptible, small mental steps. They have opposed the Law of Moses as well as they could with their intellectuality and their way of being. Indeed, have not all their actions, utterances and instructions been concentrated on one, great command: "thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself"? Such a command is, however, glaringly immoral in relation to the morality of the Law of Moses or of the past. It does not say "thou shalt love thy spouse as thyself", but it says "thy neighbour". And this "neighbour" can be just as well a being of the same sex. But to claim that a man should love another man just as much as he loves himself would be to "seduce" him into loving this man just as much as he otherwise usually loves only a woman. And of course it does not improve matters that a woman should likewise love another woman just as much as she otherwise usually loves a man. But is it not nonetheless this "seduction" that has now influenced terrestrial human beings for thousands of years. Are not these beings once again in the presence of the "serpent" in the "Garden of Eden"? And is it not conceivable that this "seduction", just like the biblical one, leads to "expulsion from the garden" and to "death"? Are we not once again confronted with the "event of the Garden of Eden"?
