"The New Testament's" ideal of neighbourly love does not promote the normality of "man" or "woman" and the sphere connected with this, which constitutes the "zone of happy marriages"
1428. In a zone where the highest pleasure or the loftiest ideal is life as a one-hundred-per-cent "man" and a one-hundred-per-cent "woman", where beings appear as specific beings of the "male principle" and the "female principle", the being cannot possibly comply with the command to love one's neighbour as oneself, and such a command would have to be expressive of abnormality or unnaturalness in the extreme. In other words, "The New Testament's" ideal of neighbourly love with its forgiveness of one's enemies and sacrifice of one's life for the happiness of others, or its ideal of existing solely in order to "serve" and not in order to "be served", is not an ideal that in any way whatsoever can maintain the normality of "man" and "woman" and thereby the "zone of happy marriages". The great ideal of this zone and the only morality that applies to it is the marital commands of the "Law of Moses" or "The Old Testament".
