"Adam" and "Eve" "die" or lose their cosmic consciousness
1434. That these beings, in whom "cosmic consciousness" has become out-grown and has become "C-knowledge", and whose physical consciousness from their previous spiral exists as talent kernels that are asleep deep within their fate element, must be helped into action from the outside is just as much a matter of course as it is that a seed cannot possibly unfold itself without assistance from the outside in the form of heat, water and soil in which it can take root and begin to germinate. And the living being must thus also obtain this heat, moisture or nourishment in a mental form from the outside. And this soil was thus the impulses from the principle of world redemption, a principle described in the "Bible's" "story of the Fall" as the "serpent". It was on the initiative of the "serpent" that "Eve's" and "Adam's" dormant talent kernels for "manifesting darkness" or the contrast to "light" could sprout, grow and bloom. And once this sprouting of "darkness" had begun, there was nothing that could stop it – neither the Law of Moses nor any other sophisticated legal injunctions or power systems. It continued and continued in the form of the "killing principle" or the "day of judgment", whose latest great outburst in the form of the great world drama has just raged across the otherwise so beautiful continents and seas of the Earth, and whose death cries from the remaining terrestrial human beings still shrill wildly in the world among smoking heaps of rubble, piles of ashes and empty "gas chambers" and other now-unoccupied instruments of death, accompanied by the echoing sound of cripples hobbling around on artificial legs, clanking with equally artificial steel arms and hands, and staring with blind gazes through painted porcelain eyes, and in the worst cases crying out to heaven, "There is no God, nor is there any justice. Everything is chance. It is every man for himself". In slightly milder cases the cry could also be: "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me". In truth God's command has been carried out. "Adam" and "Eve" have "surely died". The terrestrial human being has become a genius at persecuting, destroying or crucifying his neighbour by practising self-worship as the only salvation. But the heavenly light was extinguished. It vanished. The living being had become one with "death", had become one with matter, had become dust. It did not believe in any godhead whatsoever or in a living Providence, just as it had completely lost its belief in the immortal existence of its own I. Its entire existence was merely a temporary or fleeting moment, which would inevitably meet an eternal death, a dissolution in an eternal void. It was merely "substance", "matter", "iron" or "chemicals" that were at the mercy of composition or decomposition depending on climatic and atmospheric conditions. It was merely a rush waving hither and thither in the wind, a ripple on the surface of the water or the fleeting sparkle of reflected sunlight on a random puddle after a rain shower. The living being's perception of his real, eternal existence had become a corpse. "Death" is the dominant superstition and factor in the consciousness of the terrestrial human son of God. The living being in the form of the present terrestrial human being is a grave in which the son of God's previously so radiant, divine or superterrestrial, son-of-God-like light effects are buried. "Adam" and "Eve" are merely figures of clay thrown hither and thither by the storm. Could any being be further away from the Godhead and from life? Could the "wages of sin" be "death" in greater measure? Could the "cosmic nature" of the living being become a corpse to a greater extent, and its knowledge of itself become one with the material from which it arose? And is it not conceivable that such a being finds itself in a mental grave from which it will rise again?
