Only "neighbourly love" can guarantee the permanency of peace. And we have also seen that terrestrial mankind's entire spiritual growth goes in the direction of developing this form of love. This love has already been preached for thousands of years by mankind's greatest and most developed leaders, prophets and world redeemers as the absolute prerequisite for true peace and harmony in the world. And we have just seen here in Livets Bog that the entire universe revealed that "neighbourly love" is the only absolute, complete fulfilment of the divine laws of the world plan, while the opposite, "lack of love", is a complete infringement and undermining of everything in this divine plan that is created to bring about the culmination of the very highest knowledge and thereby the most perfect and most comprehensive form of experience of the contrast to "death". "Lack of love" is thus the foundation of "death", while "love" is the foundation of "life". It is essential that the reader understand these things so that he can thereby overcome some of the intolerance or aversion he may feel when the cosmic analyses now begin to show that the "principle of the male sex and the female sex" is not a satisfactory organic structure for the creation of the highest happiness, the highest knowledge and thereby the very highest feeling or experience of life, but constitutes nothing but organs of "death".
