1481. Since at a certain stage in evolution towards the great birth the individual finds itself increasingly unsuited for being the father or mother of a child, and is consequently averse to parenthood, but is nonetheless still fertile and pervaded by a rapidly increasing sexual desire, it can be nothing but a blessing that such a being can have this desire satisfied without this satisfaction resulting in the being concerned, if it be a man, becoming a "father", and if it be a woman, becoming a "mother". Beings in whom the talents for being a "father" or "mother" are very withered or have crumbled away, and who are therefore filled with loathing or antipathy towards having to experience "parenthood", could be nothing but highly unsuitable "parents". But since these beings nonetheless have a heightened sexual drive that demands correspondingly heightened satisfaction, such beings would have dozens of children if fertilisation were not prevented. All these children would thus be doomed to having poor or unsuitable parents. On a physical sphere a whole mass of discarnated souls would be born to unnatural parents. Even though "contraception" is not so widespread that it can completely rule out reincarnation through couples who would make poor parents, it does, however, contribute significantly to reducing it. Thus reincarnation has to be facilitated to a corresponding extent only by those who are still perfectly or naturally suited to parenting.
There are of course thousands of examples of poor or degenerated parenting in the world. Are there not many men and women that thoughtlessly satisfy their sexual drive and allow it to have consequences, which means "fertilisation" and "offspring", without them actually taking care of their offspring; indeed, they are sometimes even totally irresponsible towards them? Are there not many mothers who have had to give birth clandestinely and kill the child? Are there not many men, both young and older, who have sought erotic satisfaction and, when this has had consequences, flee their responsibility and leave the woman concerned, their sexual partner, in the lurch? Is this not borne out by the files of the judicial system? Why is there something called "compulsory contributions to the maintenance of illegitimate children"? And why must such contributions be collected largely through legal proceedings? Do not all such phenomena have their root in poor parenting or a degenerated "father principle" and "mother principle" in the beings concerned? Similarly there would be no such thing as "child welfare committees", if all parents found parenthood completely natural. There is thus in daily life an abundance of examples of unnatural parenthood. The fact that some of these can be eradicated or precluded by "contraception" can thus be neither a physical or mental infringement of the laws of life nor a crime.
