Why the "kingdom of heaven" or loving one's neighbour as oneself is an impossibility for the terrestrial human being in its male and female state
1568. But now the terrestrial human being is organically bound to the cold winter zone of the spiral cycle. Its leaflessness consists in it being able to love only the "opposite sex". It cannot love its "own sex" sufficiently for it to be able feel "paradisiacal" happiness with this sex. And of all the beings of the "opposite sex", it must love only one being (its spouse), in order to have a feeling of "heaven" or "paradise". If it loves more than one being, the poisonous flames of hell begin to lash out. And is it not said: "For this reason shall a man leave his father and mother and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh"? And should the wife not recognise the man as her head? Is it not said here that the "head of woman is man ?"? She must thus be subservient to him, and to him alone. There is thus no possibility of loving one's neighbour as oneself, or in such a way that one has a feeling of "paradise". The terrestrial human being is surrounded by an ocean of beings all of whom are in fact its "neighbours", but is organically prevented from loving a certain part of them, because they are of its "own sex". And of the other part, the "opposite sex", whom it is organically created to love, it may love only one being. That the "kingdom of heaven" is an impossibility for the terrestrial human being during its "male state" and "female state" here becomes an evident fact.
