The transformation of the poles triggered by the "highest fire" is the foundation of the creation of all contrast in the universe and thereby of the embellishment of the work of art called life
1577. In creating these different ways of sensing the same thing, it is inevitable that darkness arises, that unruliness, discord and disagreement between the beings becomes the order of the day within that part of the spiral cycle where the beings' organic structure makes them sense one and the same thing more or less differently. How could Providence create the principle of the dark contrast in the spiral cycle without this organic structure? And must not Providence create the principle of the light contrast in the spiral by means of the same organic structure? If the beings' senses were not transformed in such a way that they sensed the same thing in the same way, and came to acknowledge the real truth, the real structure of the world and its principal laws, then war, hatred and unhappiness would never end. Real bliss and the ensuing world peace or kingdom of heaven would be an impossibility. The transformation of the poles brought about by the "highest fire" is thus an absolutely divine phenomenon, because it is the basis for the creation of all contrast in the universe, and thereby for the embellishment and elaboration of the eternal, changing work of art called "life".
