Why "Eve" or the "feminine" being cannot be in "God's image"
1620. "The Bible's" account of "Adam" and "Eve" and the "prodigal son" has thus given us a symbolic account of the transformation of the living being. The foundation of this traditional account is that the living beings came from the light, and had to descend into darkness in order to know the difference between "good" and "evil", and thereby appear in "God's image". The living being was thus to be transformed into "God's image after his likeness". This "image" is not an appearance as a "male being" or a "female being". These two kinds of beings are merely temporary stages in the divine process of creation and constitute the specific instruments through which darkness can be manifested and experienced. This is also clearly evident from "The Bible's" account of God's words to "Adam" and "Eve" in the "Garden of Eden". Did not these words become an initiation of "Adam" and "Eve" into the sphere of darkness, which was to be their temporary goal in life? Did God not say to the specifically "female being", the "woman" or "Eve": "I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception. In sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee"? The woman is thus destined for darkness, sorrow and suffering; she is doomed to be her husband's "subject". A being whose sorrows are multiplied at the same time as it is a subject of another being – a being that is also imperfect – cannot possibly be "God's image". Such a being cannot possibly possess the sovereignty or perfect free will on which the perfect son of God's existence or revelation of "God's image" is based, and which therefore simply has to become wakingly day-conscious knowledge and experience in the "woman" before she can be in "God's image". But she can then no longer serve the purpose God intended for the "woman", and is then no longer a specifically "female being", but has become a being in whose mentality and way of being the "head of the serpent (the traditions of egoism) is crushed", and the "second coming of Christ", that is, the "great birth", is revealed.
