1621. With regard to God's initiation of the specifically "male being", the "man" or "Adam", the biblical account says:
"Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree of which I commanded thee, saying, 'Thou shalt not eat of it,' cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life.
Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee, and thou shalt eat the herb of the field.
In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread till thou return unto the ground, for out of it wast thou taken; for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."
We see here how it is just as impossible for the "male being" or the "man" as it is for the "female being" or the "woman" to be in "God's image".
A being that obeys another imperfect being's suggestion to break the law and thereby causes the Earth to be "cursed", to be a sphere of unhappiness, a war zone for the individual where the "thorns" and "thistles" of egoism thrive in competition with the difficulties that determine that one must ensure the provision of one's food in the sweat of one's face, cannot be in "God's image".
And it does not make the matter any better that the being at the same time suffers from the superstition that one "was dust", "is dust" and will continue "being dust", and thus believes in death rather than life.
How can such a cosmically dead or mentally impoverished being that can sense only "dust" be in "God's likeness"?
