"God's image" cannot be an image of imperfection, subjugation and dependency and a sweaty struggle to maintain life.Nor can "God's image" be a being that begets children who murder one another.It cannot be a being whose life is based for all time on a "heel" that was "crushed by the serpent", that is to say, on a physical and mental organism that for all time is tainted with darkness or the effects of the infringement of the laws of life to such an extent that this being can never feel safe, but must continue to live with the pains of its mistakes and of its confidence in the "serpent's" inspiration to break the law.Nor can it be a being whose life consists solely of "crushing the head of the serpent", that is to say, a life of struggle with the low drives and talents it has inherited from the animal kingdom."God's image" can be nothing other than the being that is liberated from all low, animal forces, drives and tendencies, whose completely sovereign mentality or cosmic consciousness is one with the light that, in the form of "God's spirit", moves upon the face of the waters.
