Through all the previous chapters and sections in "Livets Bog", we have gained a thorough knowledge of the darkness in the world. And we have seen that the reason why all religions are now on the decline and can no longer continue being the moral foundation for human beings is their lack of clarity about the true nature of darkness. They express no knowledge of the fact that darkness constitutes an absolutely indispensable and thereby divine arrangement without which no experience of life or sensory perception of any kind would be possible. They therefore express the darkness in the world as something "evil".
