1643. But an analysis of "eternity" and "infinity" shows that they can constitute only one and the same analysis, namely a "something that is". And this brings us to the absolutely last bulwark in our analysis of life or the world structure. We have been able to move, dissolve or put in place all other phenomena, but this above-mentioned "something" cannot be removed or dissolved by any kind of analysis whatsoever. It is and will remain a reality that cannot be given any other analysis than the fact that it exists. But when it is thus the very last existing phenomena or reality in the world structure, this "something" must be identical to the "something" that has been able to make the analysis. What could this last "something" otherwise be? In complete harmony with the laws of logic, we have been able to remove or dissolve into analyses all other things as subordinate instruments, organs or senses through which this "something" manifested itself. And since we have now removed these organs and instruments too, we have here arrived at the "something" that could remove the instruments, indeed, remove time and space and thereby reveal itself as being beyond time and space. But where there is no "time", "eternity" exists. And where there is no space, "infinity" exists. The highest "something" in our own nature is thus identical to "eternity" and "infinity".
