1671. That the dimensions of this fire are enormous is established as fact in that the bliss mentioned above is the result of merely the thin ray from paradise through the "chink in the door". When such a tiny ray can in such a way light up and fill the kingdom of death with so much joy, well-being, superterrestrial energy and a feeling of heaven beyond paradise, how must it then be inside the door of paradise where the ocean of light is complete and not an apparently tiny stray ray through a chink in a door? Is not the Godhead here saying to his son, which in this case means the being in the animal kingdom, "Wake up! Wake up! I have given you the opportunity to experience me shining on the terrestrial plane. I am, in spite of everything, with you in the flesh. And even though you have received other organs, and can flay, flense and skin your neighbour, indeed, even though it is a vital necessity for you to eat his flesh and blood, and your body thus must of necessity be created as a perfect murder weapon or instrument for killing, I have, however, in your spirit's life-destroying organism or satanic mantle of hell, let you retain organs for your correspondence with me. In the midst of your murderous journey through hell you can still call forth glimpses of light from my superterrestrial kingdom. And behold! Your ability to call forth these glimpses is so great that it can guide you through any form of darkness in the universe whatsoever. Indeed, even in zones and spheres where you have not yet become intellectual, indeed, where you completely deny my existence and regard belief in me as life's greatest superstition, as the culmination of simple-mindedness, primitivity and gullibility, I am the warmth in your blood. There, where you have forgotten your original, cosmic identity as my son, where you believe that you are a mortal, perishable created thing that has lived a life lasting only the tiny ephemeral section of eternity that the age of your present physical body represents, and you therefore believe that you are on your way to the grave, towards annihilation or dissolution, I guide you by virtue of the heavenly organs in your terrestrial body safely through the night. With these organs I thus maintain your identity with immortality and my own flesh and blood, and guarantee you my own eternal life, my own eternal existence in my own highest well-being through life and death."
