1678. Perhaps the head of the reader or the seeker after truth is swimming a little at this point. But here we are indeed at the very highest pinnacles of life itself. There is no higher view of the universe, eternity and infinity than the point from which we now survey the entire universe. We are at the Father's own viewpoint. It is here that the great answer: "Everything is very good", God's own view of life, the universe or cosmos is established as fact. Here the individual or son of God is liberated from his partiality for the light, the religion or the view of the Godhead that results in a mistaken notion of darkness, a failure to appreciate darkness and indignation towards it. Here we see the true mission of darkness or "hell" as being the blessing without which the divine hand could not possibly create the "human being in God's image". "Darkness" is thus in reality a blessing in the same way as light is. Life would be just as impossible without the dark contrast as it would be without the light contrast. Situated on this highest viewpoint of life, we see that there is no death. That which made us fear "hell" or darkness so much was the idea of damnation, death and destruction. But we see here that none of those who "died" on the battlefields or "died" at the hand of hatred or "died" of other causes, of illness and old age, are "dead". That which was perceived as "death", "hell" or darkness was nothing other than a pigment, a "decoration material" or "dark paint" that the immortal I – in conjunction with the modelling and painting hand of God behind the dead bodies – used to shape his living work of art: the "human being in God's image". The dead bodies, the corpses in the graves, are but wood shavings or waste products from this divine process of creation, this divine transformation of the mentality from "animal" to "human being". Beyond all reincarnations and the destruction of the organisms or bodies, the eternal I exists with its just as eternal superconsciousness. Here it is that it exists as identical to eternity itself and can use time and space, light and darkness as materials for its cosmic or superterrestrial colouring or creation of the halo of light in which it is "one with the Father" and constitutes "the way, the truth and the life".
