1684. Even though the living being lives here in absolute solitude, cut off from all conscious communication with any other living being, it is incapable of feeling this solitude. It certainly does not miss this communication; on the contrary, being in the company of or in the middle of nothing but one's own inner world is a superterrestrial, divine rest. The ability to miss the outer world has thus been put out of action.Life in the kingdom of bliss, like life on the other planes, is made up of the satisfaction of a desire, wish or longing. And as long as this longing is not satisfied, the desire or longing for experiences in the outer world could not possibly gain a foothold. What does the being do here?It literally travels in its "recollections" from the outer physical and spiritual world. And here in the kingdom of bliss the remarkable thing is that all recollections are recollections of superterrestrial light. Here in the kingdom of bliss all memories of dark events of whatever kind they may be, regardless of whether they be memories of suicide or of killing, suffering and sorrow one has inflicted on other beings, are cleansed and processed thus leading to a disclosure of their identity as a logical link in God's great transformation of the beings from "animal" to "human being".They are seen as an indispensable, one hundred per cent useful and beneficial link in the creation and maintenance of the ability to sense the divine universal love that is the keynote of the universe. From this comes the term "gold copies".Only on the physical plane and on the threshold to the spiritual world can the dark aspect of the memories give rise to "purgatory", that is to say, mental terror, anxiety, trembling and the "weeping and gnashing of teeth".This aspect of the memories has thus already been left behind in the first sphere of the spiritual world.Between it and these experiences of mental darkness the being has thus its life in the real human kingdom, the kingdom of wisdom and the divine world.
