How it comes about that the memories become "gold copies" and the "kingdom of bliss"
1686. But since the form of life experience that prevails here is based solely on memories, and these memories are mental re-experiencings of dark occurrences just as well as light ones, how can it come about that they can all be experienced here only as light or bliss? How does the purification of memories that renders the sphere of memory a "kingdom of bliss" take place? The foundation for this transformation of the memories into gold copies comprises the two previous kingdoms in the spiral cycle, namely the "kingdom of wisdom" and the "divine world", which respectively constitute the domains or special zones of intelligence and intuition. Here the individual's terrestrial experiences of darkness are analysed and identified with the logic of the world structure, which is the same as universal love. Here divine will prevails, as expressed by the words: "Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it. For in the day that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die." Here all memories are inspected, analysed and tried until they merge with the world plan as links in its structure of love. But when all memories already here in the divine world, which is the last part of the spiral cycle's outer world, have become one hundred per cent radiant, it is not so surprising that they appear in the kingdom of bliss as gold copies. In this case "gold copies" constitute the memories of the material, physical experiences of darkness reproduced in superterrestrial, mentally luminous and sparkling materials, and liberated from the poisonous thorns and spikes that create pain, tears and depression on the physical plane and in purgatory.
