The sexual structure of the beings, and their appearance as purely male or female that this entails, is not something that one wants or does not want; it is something one is
1752. One has long since begun to notice those beings that deviate from the purely "male" and "female" psyche, but one has been able to regard them only as "abnormal", which is of course quite natural. Those beings that have no insight or that have not yet come very far in this process of transformation cannot possibly view this in any other way, wholly devoid as they are of real cosmic or high-intellectual insight into the cosmic plan of life itself. They cannot possibly judge something on the basis of knowledge they do not have. One has therefore tried to "heal" these beings that deviate from "animal masculinity" and "femininity" through punishment and prohibition because, being blindly naive, one has believed that the state of these beings is merely an act of will. One did not understand that it would be just as foolish to punish a "man" for being a "man", and punishing a "woman" for being a "woman", as it is of course to punish a being for appearing in another sexual state. And it would of course be just as foolish to malign, mock and ridicule such beings.A sexual state is not a superficial act of will like, for example, opening and closing one's eyes, standing up or sitting down, or running or walking.Sexual orientation is not a party one can or cannot be a member of, depending on whether or not one wants to be.Sexual nature is not something one wants; it is something one is.A "woman" is a "woman", and a "man" is a "man", whether or not they want to be.In the same way a human being is primitive or highly evolved whether or not it wants to be.Why should the evolution of the sympathetic faculties be any exception?Fortunately one here of course belongs to this or that degree of evolution, whether or not one wants to.For if it depended merely on the human will, no one would evolve, and especially not in such a fundamental and profound sphere of consciousness as the sexual sphere.Who would completely consciously and voluntarily enter a sphere in which they are bound to be regarded as abnormal or unnatural beings, as social outcasts, subjected to the contempt, mockery and ridicule, slander, persecution and torture of the "animal" or "masculine" and "feminine" beings? This is of course always the lot of those beings who go ahead of the flock, not merely sexually but also in all other areas of the human psyche's evolution and the transformation of the being from "animal" to "human being" that is associated with this.
