1762. How will there ever be peace on Earth? Well, one must learn to understand that attaining peace by the means described above would be absolutely impossible. All that can be attained by using material power is, at best, judicial or legal protection. But this too will depend on the legal judges' psyche or mental attitude to, and understanding of, the real truth. But as long as they still juggle with death penalties or massacres as a means of abolishing massacres, one should not expect to find there a perfect recognition of the truth or an insight into the law of life itself and therefore not true, just protection either. Abolishing massacres by murdering is of course the same as removing weeds by sowing weeds. Beings with such an attitude to life are still, from a cosmic point of view, dormant beings as regards recognising the real laws of life. Since the lack of peace in the world is an attack on the law of life, one cannot possibly remove it by new attacks on, and infringements of, this law. Peace is an existence that consists solely of promoting life and not sabotaging it. If one wants to attain peace in the world, one must turn one's gaze towards the mental or psychic terrains or areas where we see that the Godhead or life itself is in the process of preparing the creation of a coming world peace or the good will toward men of the Christmas gospel.
