One-poled sexuality is the phenomenon in the human being inherited from the animal kingdom that will be the last to perish
1766. What then does the terrestrial human being have in common with the animal? Well, first and foremost it has the same principle of procreation as the animal. This principle, as we already know, is based on the very culmination of selfishness or egoism, which in turn completely depends on its particular one-poled sympathetic faculties, the male and female or the masculine and the feminine principle's particular mutual constellation in the being, which in turn determines the being's appearance as a specifically male being or female being. Since the principle of procreation, and the drive for self-preservation based on it, constitutes the unshakable core of the animal's psyche and existence, and is therefore the most difficult to destroy, this core will of course be the very last thing to perish of all the phenomena in the terrestrial human being's consciousness that it has in common with the animal. And it is certain that this core cannot very well perish before a new principle of procreation is made with such developed organs that it is sustainable enough to be able to promote the survival of the new species.
