1773. After having culminated in such a being that recognises only things that can be weighed and measured or that can be sensed in time and space this cosmic epoch of death declines because of the beginnings of the development of a new sphere of interest. The object of this new sphere of interest is precisely all psychic, mental or spiritual details of the living being or the solution to the mystery of life itself. Through the development or maturation of this new sphere of consciousness the individual gradually gains the ability to take in or survey the epoch of death in the experience of life. The terrestrial human being and all the animals thus live in existence's true "kingdom of death". The living beings here are in a way "dead" beings, as far as their knowledge of the cosmos or the mystery of life is concerned. True knowledge of real life is thus completely buried in the terrestrial, materialistic drive for self-preservation, in ownership, nationalism and all other kinds of animal manifestations of the drive for self-preservation.
