We do indeed see great deviations from the so-called "normal" line as regards sexuality, which is thereby perceived as the "moral" line.
Terrestrial human beings have established in their religion and their moral view a particular sexual state as the unshakably natural one from which people should preferably not deviate one single inch.
Neither intercourse nor even the very slightest expression of the mating urge may thus occur between man and woman unless within a marriage consecrated by a priest, and then preferably only in order to create offspring, just as divorce should preferably not occur either.
It is naturally a matter of course that this established virtue and chastity reveals a particular stage in the cycle; but it is equally a matter of course that the beings' mentality cannot live up to this stage.
It will be ousted by the subsequent stage of the same cycle, just as surely as the winter stage unshakably will be ousted by the year cycle's subsequent stages of spring and summer.
Making a law about sexual morality that holds true for all eternity is just as foolish as making a moral law that would forbid the coming of spring for all eternity.
No power is greater than that of the cycle.
Only by virtue of this does the omnipotence of the Godhead exist.
For this reason, any established moral law can inevitably hold true for only a small local zone or epoch in the cycle.
If the opposite were the case the universe's principle of the cycle or the omnipotence of the Godhead would fall to pieces, and there would be no truly intellectual or cosmic researcher who would dare to claim that this takes place, would there?
The laws of Nature or life, which of course promote the omnipotence of the Godhead, do not comply with the individual, but the individual must on the contrary comply with Nature.
It ought to be an all-outshining fact for every intellectual human being that the public in general has long since deviated from the above-mentioned marital morality or path of virtue with regard to mating.
We have already here in "Livets Bog"
given detailed descriptions of the degenerating marriages, the infidelity that very much dominates in these marriages and the thousands upon thousands of divorces that follow from them.
To this can be added the widespread sexual gratification between the sexes outside of marriage, in addition to the host of people who are completely devoid of the marital tendency to copulate, the many thousands upon thousands of single beings who live their entire lives without ever having the need for marriage or sexual relations with the opposite sex.
And do we not see within this series of single people yet another host of beings whose sympathy is directed towards their own sex, a break with the orthodox morality that for centuries has been perceived as a mortal sin?
But no matter how much one has preached and threatened with eternal damnation and hell, and how much one has punished with death, all one has achieved is the torturing, martyring and killing of the beings concerned.
The principle of the cycle (the omnipotence of God), and the evolution that follows from it, has passed unhindered over the world.
God's transformation of the human being in His image does not allow itself to be stopped by the particular sexual view of a little local epoch and its corresponding local morality.
The highest fire is not determined by the human being, but the "human being" is determined by this highest, mental source of heat.
The cosmic cycle's spring awakening could therefore not fail to come about.
There were ever-increasing numbers of single beings, more and more unfaithful marriages, more and more divorces, more and more children outside of marriage and more and more infertile marriages, quite apart from the dusty, stinking, decaying atmosphere that always more or less accompanies degeneration and breakdown.
This atmosphere is represented here by the flood of sexual excesses, perversities and illnesses in organs and in the soul that makes martyrs of terrestrial mankind and for the time being turns thousands of people into more or less physical and spiritual wrecks.
Neither prisons, the death penalty, sermons, the sixth* commandment nor modern science has managed to halt the law of Nature, the eternal cycle's now onrushing cosmic spring awakening and the divine will revealed through it: the downfall of the animal kingdom and the creation of the kingdom of heaven in terrestrial mankind's mentality, the transformation of the "animal" into a "human being" or the incarnation of "God's image" in physical flesh and blood.

The sixth commandment referred to here is commonly referred to as the seventh in English Bibles, "Thou shalt not commit adultery".
