1789. But what is the purpose of all this sexual evolution? Is it not obvious that it has gone quite differently from what the priests and other moral authorities have taught and predicted? Is it not a fact that neither priests nor lawyers have been able to stop this enormous sexual transformation, this growing sexual desire in the beings? Is it not a fact that it has proved impossible to keep the satisfaction of this desire within the traditional bounds of marriage or the recognised moral law? What can the authorities today do about this other than try to build a protective judicial or police wall around those dangerous individuals who are developmentally and sexually derailed? Wherever the beings deviate from the authorised path of virtue with regard to mating but do not have dangerous tendencies in either sadistic or murderous directions or wherever there are no tendencies to molest minors or where there are no cases of beings succumbing to their drive as a vice that they cannot control – it therefore leading them into the abyss and towards mental illness and mental deficiency – there is of course nothing about these beings' sexual orientation that can bother others or justify intervention from these others. And here it becomes apparent that there is nothing that needs to be done. For here the sexual evolution is not derailed. As a rule the beings here represent a high level of intellectual development, indeed, at best they are indeed aspirants to initiation, if they are not already initiated. That such beings are not married is naturally a matter of course. They will always appear as single beings. It is among these single beings that we find mankind's very greatest leaders. It is also this circumstance, albeit unconscious for the people themselves, that renders impossible the thought of a "Mrs. Christ" or a "Mrs. Jesus" for most people.
