The great undermining factor in the creation of the true experience of life
1814. As we have now seen, the creation of a world peace is not merely a question of creating the best weapons and developing the most refined cunning and superiority with regard to thinking up propaganda lies. Indeed, everything of that kind that the terrestrial human beings have invented to date and may still invent now becomes apparent as the very torch of hatred that continuously keeps the deadly hell of war alive. There is thus no getting away from following the example of the sages, mankind's very greatest spiritual leaders, for the question is not a question of weapons but a question of wisdom, spirit, or real knowledge of the most profound nature or mental origin of human conduct or behaviour. And it can no longer be doubted that all unrest between terrestrial human beings is rooted exclusively in their unfinished sympathetic faculties and their ensuing far too small interest in and understanding of how to promote their neighbour's life and well-being, and of the fact that this interest and promotion is the first prerequisite for establishing our own well-being. Believing that we can create a truly healthy and lasting well-being for ourselves at the expense of the welfare, joy and zest for life of our neighbour is life's very greatest superstition and manifestation of delusion, and thereby the greatest undermining factor in all creation of the true or real experience of life. Attaining absolute cosmic clear-sightedness, cosmic consciousness, initiation or the great birth as long as one consciously or unconsciously to a greater or lesser extent robs or steals others' access to life, light and well-being is just as impossible as it is for a terrestrial human being to change the temperature of the sun, the orbit of the Earth and the light of the moon.
