1883. It is beings of the human-being-I type that live in the Orient as sages and hermits in outlying districts. In fact they also of course occur within the densely populated areas of civilisation or culture, but there they live modestly, keeping their real, high spiritual standard hidden. They are seen to be extremely helpful and loving people. Their great spiritual maturity lies hidden behind their modest outer appearance, and often their great artistic talents lie hidden too, so that one can sometimes also find human beings I within the ranks of the great artists. But they are against any form of flattery and worship from their fellow beings and from the general public. They have no wish to draw attention to themselves. They have great understanding of and love for all human beings and find the greatest joy in carrying out one or another mission or service for the humane and cultural evolution of mankind. Both human being I and human being H are natural disciples and helpers within the area of world redemption. The transformation of the poles of human being I has advanced so much and has developed so harmoniously that it can no longer fall in love with the opposite sex or their own sex.
