1903. The mentally finished human being J is thus a being whose sympathetic faculty or sexual structure has reached a stage that enables the individual quite organically and sexually to love its neighbour as itself. Its pole structure has made it a sovereign being. It is no longer a being whose sympathy can be triggered only by the opposite sex. It is no longer a "man", and is therefore not bound by the desires whose satisfaction is a vital condition for such a sexual being. Since it is not a "woman" either, it is thus here too quite free of the desires whose satisfaction is a vital condition for this kind of sexual being. In the sphere of life of the perfect human beings J – the completely finished human kingdom – the two kinds of beings, "men" and "women", thus do not exist. Here only one kind of being occurs, namely the transformed "man" and "woman" who have evolved completely to the sexually double-poled state. The masculine and the feminine principle have thus in this new two-poled being formed a harmonious synthesis. They have become two great regulating factors of consciousness in the psyche of the being in question. It can now react perfectly both in a feminine and a masculine way and differs thereby from the one-poled being. This latter being can react perfectly in only a one-poled way because one of its poles is more or less still unfinished and is therefore to a corresponding degree an unconscious factor in its psyche. It is of course only perfectly wakingly day-conscious of its ordinary pole or that through which it experiences life. For the "man" the foundation for his experience of life is, as we already know, his masculine pole, and for the "woman" it is her feminine pole. But for the mentally finished human being J it is thus both its feminine and its masculine pole cooperating beautifully, harmoniously and organically as a unit that are the great foundation for its experience of life. Since these two great factors of the experience of life, in accordance with the laws of the principle of the cycle, cause the individual during a particular epoch to experience life through these two poles, which are arranged as an organic unit or have become one organ, this organ gives it the ability to experience equally wakingly day-consciously in the sphere of both these two great poles in the universe. It is equally conscious in both the feminine and the masculine aspect of the structure of the cosmos or universe. This in turn means that the being is just as conscious of the darkness as the light, and just as conscious of the light as the darkness. It is by virtue of this that it fathoms the riddle of the mystery of life or the universe, and sees all its solutions with cosmic clear-sightedness. It has become the master of all the contrasts of the universe or life. It masters light as well as darkness. It can thereby experience the culmination of life and, through its waking, day-conscious mastery of all contrasts, it will, in whatever it undertakes, create with a culminating level of genius. It is thus at the peak of absolutely all perfection. A being for whom life is no longer a mystery is of course as like the Godhead as it is at all possible to be. When this being, through its knowledge and ensuing mastery of all contrasts, has the ability to create one hundred per cent perfection or exactly in accordance with the same logic as the Godhead, and whose productions by virtue of this perfection, are correspondingly one hundred per cent a joy and blessing for its surroundings, this being constitutes here the height of the revelation of God himself brought to life in water and the spirit, or the height of the revelation of God's way of being in flesh, blood and consciousness.
      There is thus no difference in principle between this being's experience and creation and the Godhead's experience and creation. The absolutely only difference there is between these two revelations or expressions of life is that the one being dwells completely within the other. The one being lives, moves and has its being within the other. And here we have the most profound reason for the concepts of "God" and the "son of God". The being within which the other being dwells is thus the Godhead, while the being that dwells within this Godhead is the son of God. Both these beings are pervaded by the same knowledge, the same bliss, the same happiness and joy, but are wakingly day-consciously turned directly towards one another. The son of God is here at one with God, and God is at one with the son of God. It is thus this being that is dwelling directly and consciously within the Godhead that constitutes the mentally or psychically finished human being in God's image or the real "God-like human being".
