1926. In the same way the beings of the plant kingdom – which are exclusively inkling-beings in that they feel pain only as an inkling of unpleasantness, and pleasure as an inkling of pleasantness – constitute the area of the macrobeing's organism that constitutes its musculature. Here the energy of instinct is thus based. In the same way the macro-organism's skeleton or bone and horn area, that is to say its mineral area, is the seat of complete unconsciousness on the outer plane. This area thus consists of surplus energy from the kingdom of bliss that has been released here and has bonded with the material of the outer world. It is this release of matter from the kingdom of bliss that begins as hot, shining clouds or the incipient formation of suns or planets in outer space. And it is this energy that is connected to the living being's principle of sperm and reproduction and is here manifested as the primary factor in the creation of the embryo in the mother's womb.
